Fort lauderdale inshore fishing report July 07, 2023
Fort lauderdale inshore fishing report July 07, 2023 Lots of action in early july with a good amount of smaller baits (pilchards) showing up seeing a lot of action on pilchards and small lures. Finding choice baits early in the morning is key and middle of the day baits can be had on sabiki just outside the inlet. Tarpon have been schooled up in the 30-50lb class all up and down the inlet especially on the outgoing and the dusk and night bite is consistent. During the day a few fish to be had with light enough tackle but the evening almost always proves to be the better choice. Snook fishing has been heating up along with the water temp. schoolie sized snook tearing up any baits dropped to the bottom at the jetties or bridges.
Thanks for checking out this weeks inshore fishing report!
