Mid August Fort Lauderdale Inshore Fishing Report

Hot Weather & Hotter bite! Ft. Lauderdale is heating up and so is the tarpon bite. Inshore holding a ton of smaller chummer pilchard and schooled up tarpon are eating anything that moves! Lots of action in the port drifting live baits out the inlet and throwing small jigs at the jetties for snook. Weather has been challenging but don’t let it hold you back the overcast and windy days have been the biggest producers! Even had a few quality fish on topwater at dusk!
